Plan A Cookie Dough Fundraiser

Cookie Dough Fundraiser: Execute Your Fundraiser Properly

Aside from your fundraising products, your cookie dough fundraiser could benefit more if your events are organized properly. But having a good team alone is not enough to accomplish your plans; you have to train them to be the best team possible in terms of performance because your fundraising success will depend on its results. Remember that you’re not organizing a fundraiser for the fun of it; make sure that you don’t disappoint your beneficiaries and organization since they are depending on your success.

Always let your team know their core market first before starting your own cookie dough fundraiser. Each seller in your team should have a wide list of forecast that will serve as their personal customers during the start of your fundraiser. So before you start your events, it’s better to acquire a target market to make things easier since you already have your customers even before your events. You also have to think of ways on attracting more customers from the general public. You can ask local merchants if you can place your sales booth near their business establishments. You’ll not only get the expected number of customers you need but also help your local merchants in getting their own customers for their business establishments. If you partner a merchant who owns a popular store, this will be a good strategy for your fundraiser since the store they own is already famous to the public and its customers. You also need to take care of you volunteers aside from your plans in fundraising. Assign them the tasks and responsibilities for your fundraiser for them to do so they can help you in your fundraising efforts. You may also want to arrange a weekly meeting to inform all of your team members their overall performance and what to improve in their work. And also improve your relationship with your team by doing a non-formal dinner with them.

Always provide your team with the necessary things and equipment for them to sell your products more effectively after you have started your fundraising events. Do this by providing them sample products, sales brochures and order forms with them. They also need to understand how the order forms should work and knows how to execute a good sales script. To save time and effort of your volunteers, they have to be well prepared for this kind of job if you don’t want them to go back to you and ask questions regarding your fundraiser and some sales materials which is a waste of precious time. In addition to preparation of your team, they must also focus on their customer’s satisfaction. The fundraising product you choose must not only be profitable but also affordable for their customers to buy. Most people say that first impression last, so does in doing fundraisers. If you can satisfy them in your first run in fundraising, there are great chances that they will participate in your upcoming events. Just ensure that you’ll not disappoint them so they’ll not loose their loyalty to your fundraiser.
