Elementary School Fundraisers

Elementary School Fundraiser: Increase your Results

If you would depend only on the main plan of your elementary school fundraiser, you might become successful. But if you plan to make your fundraising campaign bigger and better, you’ll need to work harder by adding a few investments. Through this, you can increase the profits that you’ll be producing in your fundraising campaign.

In this article, we’ll be discussing various marketing strategies in order to increase the profits of your elementary school fundraiser, so pay attention to every detail that I will give to you. First, we will discuss about sidewalk sales and how it’s going to increase your financial income. To do sidewalk sales, you must have a list of high traffic locations or places where most people commonly go everyday. It can be shopping malls, public parks and other locations where people usually gather. By doing so, you can sum up the amount of sales produced by your sales volunteers through door-to-door sales to the amount of sales you generated from doing sidewalk sales. Be sure that you have enough volunteers in order to schedule them in watching over your sales booth. This way, you don’t have to miss any transactions during break hours. A 1-2 hours break for every volunteer is recommended.

Next strategy is to plan for a no sale response or encountering potential customers who are not interested on any of your offers. If this happens, don’t just give up. Being an efficient seller is to have good persuasion skills. You can do this by telling people everything about the possible uses and advantages that they will have if they will buy your product.  Be more persuasive as possible and you might change their minds in saying “no” to your offers. Another tip to consider would be offering gift certificates. By offering gift certificates after a fundraiser deal, you can increase you profits. Using national merchants will increase your chance in a deal but you can also use local merchants as well.

You can also combine specific fundraising ideas so you can increase your profits even more. For example, if you’re planning for a movie night event, you can sell tickets for the event but you can also sell snacks and drinks to your customers for extra profit. By doing this strategy, you’re not only earning from selling tickets but also from snacks and drinks you just sold to your customers. Another example to apply would be to sell candies while offering discount cards.

Asking discounts is also a good strategy while ordering for more supplies from you fundraising company. You can do this by simply asking them the price of the supplies and tell them if that’s the best they can do. Do this and you’ll surely get those discounts you expected. With discounts, you can sell those products to your customers at a really good price and you’ll be able to produce more of your total amount of profit. Also ask if they offer discounts if you purchase bulk orders from them.
