Unique Fundraising: Throw Out A Car Raffle

Unique Fundraising: Throw Out A Car Raffle

Being unique is a good thing. Every single person on the face of the planet is unique. Now, how is this related to having a fundraiser campaign? Well, if you have big plans to earn big money from fundraisers, you need to come up with unique fundraising ideas that are not only very interesting to people but also have high profit margins.

Raffle fundraisers have been around for quite some time already. However, this doesn’t mean that they can’t be tweaked in such a way for them to be unique fundraising campaigns. If you’re really serious about gaining huge funds from your next fundraiser program, then a car raffle is the best way to go. Now, this may sound like a monstrous idea that’s going to require a lot from you in order for it to work out really well but that is not absolutely true. Instead of focusing on how you’re going to get the car, you first need to fix your attention on getting a good number of ticket sellers who will help you market the raffle chances to people in your community. Since you’re going to set up a raffle fundraiser, you need to see to it that you get a large number of ticket sales. This is going to be your main income stream. Everything else besides selling tickets can be managed by a small number of people.

To make your efforts really effective you need to get organized properly. In order for you to do this, you need to divide the main tasks concerning your campaign into three areas namely product, design, and marketing. You need to design your campaign around the a nice and attractive SUV or car. This is going to be the main reason why people are going to purchase tickets from your sales volunteers. Aside from the car as your main prize, you can also include a cash equivalent option for people who don’t want to win a car. Complement these two with small cash prizes that will help you in building interest from people in your community. Your product needs to be highly desirable and it should have a good status quotient. Based on this, you need to think of a vehicle that can be labeled as a dream car instead of something that people are going to consider as a regular means of transportation. To get your vehicle prize, you need to contact the manager of a local car dealer who will provide you a win-win offer. A good offer would be something like a 25% off list. To convince the local dealer, you can tell them that you’re going to provide them free publicity all throughout your campaign.

Once you find a suitable prize to use, you then need to think of ways that will help you spread the word about the cause or purpose of your fundraiser. Letting people know where the earnings of your fundraiser will go to will allow you to create more appeal from people in your community. After you get the vehicle, you then need to set the cost of your tickets based on the value of the latter.
